	Socket Replacement & Engineering Support
Socket Replacement and Substitution arises in circumstances where customers’ current supply source or the existing brand is terminated for various reasons. At this level, no major modifications or re-designs of the existing electronic circuits are required. Based on our understanding of the customer’s product and its functions, recommendations are made to use another brand or type of components currently carried by us that meet the specifications of the customer’s product.
	Green Field Design
Our roles at this level are fulfilled in two stages: Stage 1 - Our application engineers evaluate customer’s product applications and recommend relevant components to customers during their product development process. Our application engineers will engage with our customer’s design engineers during their product development stage to guide them in incorporating the components into their design. As part of the evaluation, we conduct physical demonstrations in simulated environments to attest the functions, performance and features of our recommended components. To facilitate their jobs in guiding and convincing customers to use certain key components, our engineers employ equipment and tools to build demonstration circuits and convey technical ideas to prove the component’s functionality and performance. We also help to ensure that they are compatible with any future modified models of the existing products. The “design-in” stage is achieved when the customer gives the commitment to design their products based on our recommended components. This is usually at a stage where our recommended components are working satisfactory in our customer’s prototype or in a simulated environment. Stage 2 - Once our recommendation is adopted, we continue to offer technical advice and resolve any engineering issues to the customer’s product development and manufacturing department to assist them in adopting these components. Once the newly developed product is ready for mass production, we will reach the “design-win” stage where we will supply the required components for their production.
	Turnkey Solution
Turnkey solutions is provided to our customers with respect to the design of the whole or a substantial modular part of the electronic device for their products to help shorten their product development cycle.
